​@@LukStyle1985X-Trail doesn't have any mechanically locking diffs. Front and rear are open, center is not even a diff but a clutch pack. LOCK mode is just a different programming, there's nothing that needs driving a few metres, there's nothing that needs mechanical engagement like traditional diff lockers.

Obydwa samochody mają w zasadzie taki sam napęd na cztery koła, choć ten w Mitsubishi wydaje się być lepiej zaprogramowanym.

Braking doesn't mean stopping - that's why they are spinning. If they weren't braked, cars would fail diagonal or lateral tests. Your comment wasn't deleted, it's still here.

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers If they're spinning, that's movement that isn't going to the wheel with the traction. They spun for a long time. The systems are either faulty or not ready for prime time. The wheel speed sensors should know there's severe slippage and brake hard enough to prevent such a wild rotational speed differential between the wheels.

@@joevarga5982 The are spinning and they are braked. Any brake intervention on spinning wheel increases the torque on the wheel on the opposite side. That's how it works, there's no need to stop the wheel.

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers True, but if the wheels were braked more, it wouldn't take so long for power to be transmitted to the wheel with traction. The car was obviously struggling badly.

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers I understand that. But if you begin turning you decrease angle between wheel and platform, so for any car its possible take out from platform. If you meet problem like this (wheel going in axial direction) make platform with 4 rollers with angle between them less then 180 degress.thx for your quick response.

@@maksym_pryshchepa Slight correction doesn't change a thing except keeping the car on rollers. Many cars failed despite wheels being slightly turned. You must turn the steering wheel to maximum to get out of the rollers easily.

@@bernardcalloway2205 They are not that capable, it's just a reactive dual pump awd system, quite limited and late in operation. And not all of them are equipped with VSA so even simple diagonal test may be too hard.
